Take my breath away
Tony Adams tries to dispossess Kenny Dalglish... with hilarious consequences
Kenny Dalglish is probably the best player I played against. He had an enormous arse and he used to stick his bottom in and turn you and he was very aggressive. It was an era when you could actually come through the centre-forward. But he used to hit you first.
I remember I was 17 or 18 playing at Anfield and he goes to receive the ball – smack – I couldn’t breathe for about ten minutes and, of course, he’d turn and pick his ball. Unbelievable. Physical, strong, intelligent.
